  • Dancing In My Underwear

"What I been missing in my life
    What I been dreaming of
    You’ll be that girl
    You’ll be that girl
    You’ll be

Everything you want so let me get up there
I’m the baddest baby in the atmosphere
Tell me what you want so we can do just what you like"

DANCING AROUND MY ROOM IN MY UNDERWEAR FEELING SUPER HAPPY ! !
The kind of ecstasy only dancing freely with beautiful memories flowing around you can create.

This is how I start my October.
Forgetting shoulda, woulda, coulda. 'Cos at this moment, you're not here. It's just me alone dancing my troubles away. And perhaps dancing to my own rhythm is better than following your lead.

"Gabrielle Chanel proved that a woman need not define herself by the men who desired and deserted her. For in the end, Chanel was entirely her own creation..."

  • where does the facade end & the person begin?

    166944_2468958207831_1368600007_32821061_700029804_n

    "Come december lydia left
Mentioned something about it being for the best
    And I can’t say I disagree
    Now I’m standing facing west
Tracing my fingers round a silhouette
I haven’t gotten used to yet
But it’s the brightest thing I got

    And I’m covered in rain
    Cus I’m covered in rain
    Cus I’m covered in rain
You and me and everyone, covered in rain"

You feel me, John Mayer, except I can say I disagree.

I'm beginning to realize how well I don't know you. Three years ago, I would have thought of three years as an entrance to forever. Now, almost a year isn't even enough time to know a person. I thought the cool guy with his saccharine words was merely a facade, whilst the genuine person lingered beneath. Have I been deluded this entire time?

You're so honest about some things, yet it seems with others (if I'm correct), you cannot even spare me the truth. It's wearisome trying to piece together what's forsaken and preserve the friendship left in its dust, when I appear to be alone in making an effort.

I was told to never look back, to keep walking.
and the minute I looked over my shoulder,
I saw everything i ever gave up on.
all the things I let go of,
and all of the people who let go of me.

I hate goodbyes, and people disappearing from my life. So I always strived to keep them. But not everyone did the same for me. That's how I realized that I don't need anyone. And I guess I shouldn't want anyone in my life, who doesn't care to keep me in theirs.

...I think it's time to start my life over.

Say hello to a rainy week~ (Insert mixed emotions emoticon)
Have those umbrellas and rain boots ready or you may find yourself wrapping your hair inside a beret (we all know the hassle of wet hair), ineffectively trying to shield your face, and ending up with shoes that look like this:

Keds are difficult to dry -_-

What was a case of the sniffles has transitioned into a full-fledged cold. Despite the congestion and other symptoms, I have an unceasing craving for ice-cream.

Pure vanilla, chocolate, and whatever that last flavour is has never looked more inticing.

Sickness hasn't prevented me from attending class or working, and hopefully, it won't prevent me from dance class. I want to dance out the cold, but others will probably fear being infected.
Somebody, PUH-LEASE get me some ice-cream!

  • Pre-Hurricane Irene

Through the Chelsea apartment, I see the line of Whole Foods getting longer and longer. On a normal day, the security guard would reject you from entering after 11pm. But today is no normal day. It is the day before Hurricane Irene is determined to hit the East Coast. So people continue entering Whole Foods and the line seems impossible.

    line_Whole Foods

A group of girls in short dresses and heels pass the market. "They're still going clubbing," my friend laughs. I laugh too, although thoroughly not surprised. We enjoy a savory meal of Crab Rangoon, Pineapple Curry Duck, and Thai Volcanic Chicken at Spice on 8th Avenue. The restaurants and bars are filled with patrons, who probably view the night as sort of say, a "last meal," before hibernating in their homes.

    Pineapple Curry Duck

My friend has bought a flashlight, "batteries not included." We forage Duane Reade, Rite Aid, and four delis, all of which have run out of D batteries (the ones that look steroidically pumped). I see a quaint little cake shop, and lured by the delectable treats, walk in.

    Lulu_Cake

"This is how I'm preparing for the hurricane," I joke. "Stocking up on desserts." I get one vanilla cupcake.

Later, I am stuck on the subway for over a half hour. At least I have my cupcake. Boy, is it delectable!

  • My First Hate Mail

Most spam mail is grow your (insert genitalia) in 3 days, but this time, I was surprised and amused by the mere idea that someone actually took the time to write me this precious hate letter.

(Note: I did not take this mail seriously or let it bug me.
It was a message from a hateful stranger, obviously nothing personal.
    Why did I respond?
    Because it's my natural instinct.
Someone talks sh*t to me --> I debate their bums off.
I was always one to stand up for myself. And counter stupidity.)

    Subject: Hello there.

So you have a fan page? lol...get over yourself, people like you are a dime a dozen, so what makes you so special? Is it a Oriental Supremacy thing? 5'6 is on the short side for modeling, DD cup is probably your best asset.

Good luck with your "hobby" because beauty fades but dumb is forever.

    Kindest Regards,

    Hater*

    Re: Hello there.

Do you honestly have so much free time to insult someone whose profile you see on the Internet?!
Ah, I see. "Oriental Supremacy." You're just another racist prick trying to insult every Asian girl you see.
Unlike you, I don't use my race to act superior to others.

If you knew anything, you'd be aware of all the different types of modeling.
And yes, it's a hobby. For fun. Just like your hobby is stalking strangers!
    Good luck with that.

No, BEAUTY is forever; unfortunately, so is UGLY.
Look in the mirror. Sorry, God was just cruel to you!
I doubt you understand what the word "dumb" means, so I'd advise you to take a second of your pathetic life to look it up.

    What makes me so special?

    Why don't you ask yourself!

Apparently, I'm special enough to receive an entire email dedicated to me from a complete stranger!
HAHAHA I don't need to get over myself.
    YOU
    need to get over ME!

P.S. Thanks for the laugh. I'll always remember my first hate mail :)
Maybe I'll give you a shout out when you're in your box, watching me on the TV through the window of a P.C. Richard.

Do you notice her grammatical errors?

It's entertaining how people accuse others of being dumb, whilst showcasing their own lack of intelligence.

Have you ever received hate mail?
What did it say and how did you respond?
